Each of us has within the person we dream of being.  All we have to do is let that person out. This year, as your teacher, I hope to help you do just that.

Our class is going to be interesting, entertaining, engaging, interactive, and most of all, educational!  But it takes each of us coming to class every day with attitude in check, work in hand, and mind wide open.  Then, and only then, can we unleash the best in us.

What to bring:

1 1/2 inch three ring binder

Divider tabs (5 please)

Loose leaf paper (it's up to you College or Wide Rule)

A pen or pencil

Bottle of water if you'd like

What to keep put away:

Your cell phone, iPod, iPad or other preferred method of communicating.

What will be doing:

On the first day of each quarter, I'll give you a syllabus so you will know exactly what will be happening and when.  There will be chapter tests and quarterly projects (group or solo is up to you).  I don't believe in pop quizzes, excuses or surprises.  I do believe in you. 

How grades will be determined:

That will also be in the syllabus but let me say, your grade is your choice.  It's easy to get a C if you want to do the minimum.  It's easy to get a B if you're willing to work. It's easy to get an A if you're willing to do your best work consistently and put in full effort.  If you get a D or a F, well, like I said, that's your choice.
